I am sending you a few pages right now.
If you need more, just ask. I will get them to you asap.
Thanks for all your hard work.

Hey Tony,

I see that you were not signed in when you clicked on the above link for the movie I asked for "The Wendell Baker Story." The other examples you sent it shows you are signed in. So, were you signed in (in internet explorer) when you ran the program last time? The reason i ask is that the files you sent me are the exact same format as the netflix.com site and should be working, so the only thing I could think of is that you didn't login to the netflix site, although if you weren't logged in then it shouldn't have gotten as far as it did. Very strange.

Please confirm this for me and then I'll work up a test version with more detailed debugging to figure this out.

Thanks,

-DH

Hi DH,

I don't remember if I was signed in when I clicked on the above link. I am signed in right now and I am sending you a copy of the page again.
I was signed in to NetFlix with IE when I ran the Netflix TX Database Build.exe program. It seemed to run ok but when I run the Netflix Desktop program
it loads and then the NetFlix Viewer Banner comes up and said LOADING. It just hangs there waiting.
Tonight the I started the Desktop program again and it seemed to load properly. It came up with one movie on the left side list. " MYSTERY MAN "
I clicked on it and it started to play properly. Hit Alt F4 to kill it. Strange!!! It sort of works. That"s promising...
I hope this information helps.
Again... Thanks for all the hard work.

Cheers,

Tony...

Hi DH,

Just wanted to let you know that I set up the program on my pc at the office
and let it build the database. Ran the Desktop program and it all seemed to work fine.
The only category showing was the COMEDY category with all the movies listed, It looked like a few hundred.
No other categories were listed, so I think it's working to a point.
Not sure why only one category.

Just thought I would let you know.

Thanks,

Tony...

OK great, to see the other genres you have to open the options screen (ctrl+o) and select which one you want to view. Using the search screen (ctrl+s) you can search by keyword, actor, or director. Let me know if you run into any other problems. I'll put out the release shortly, I have a few fixes I need to make first.

Hey Snooze,

I have implemented your requested change in the Canadian update. Please give this one a try and let me know if it works the way you wanted.

Hey DH,

I ran the new version of the Desktop file and it works fine.
Did you make any changes to the operation of it?
Great work.

Thanks,

Tony...

Hi Tony,

Not much difference, but the new beta preserves the sort order (ctrl+y) that you select on the main screen. It is a feature that Snooze requested a while back. Once I get Snooze's feedback I'll put out the new version as a final release, which will include the .ca option for the netflix site.

If you haven't already please take a moment to rate my program on the Netflix site: http://www.netflix.com/AppDisplay?id=212...gl-it-2121

Yo DH,

Ok, its working the way I hoped. I hope others like it as well since it does not look like its configurable. Their is a weird thing happening after some quick testing though...

If I have "open last viewed" checked in options, the red loading screen hangs and wont disappear if it was last in a series of episodes. It did not hang if I last left off in a movie. I was trying it on Everest: Beyond the Limit: Season 1. I could hit escape while it was doing this, the movie queue list would load but the loading screen still hanged. I could start a movie and after it started I could hit ALT F4 in full screen movie and the loading screen would disappear. I would then exit the app. Then I restart the app, I notice the listing at the top of my queue were not all there at the top and it should have went to last viewed, showing the episodes, but it didn't. If I cycled one time through they would reappear again. Strange...

If I unchecked "open last viewed" in options, it seems to work rather well and the loading screen does not hang. It even returns me to my last viewed for regular movies or the list of episodes depending where I last left off... NICE! But when I look at the listing at the top of my queue were not all there again. If I again cycled one time through they would reappear.

I like the way it is working for the most part anyway, the missing queue listings is a bit of a let down. Maybe "load last viewed" in options is not needed anymore? You are zeroing in on it anyway! Great job!

Hey Snooze,

This is why you are my goto guy Smile OK, I think I figured out the errors. Try the attached and let me know what you think. I think it is now working with view last enabled and disabled.

Thanks,

DH

DH,

Much better. I confirm last viewed enabled or disabled is working as it should. All the queue is displayed too. Quick morning test, but I knew what I was looking for. This is great! I can see where it will help when using the remote with ALT F4 on the exit/esc button (I hit it by accident too many times and I end up leaving the app. Now it returns back to where I left off!!!) Awesome.

Now if I could figure out why when I exit the app, that my screen goes black until I hit a key (i.e. up or down arrow) when it returns to GBPVR. It is not a consistent occurrence. Hmmm...

Thanks!
