XMLTV

Hi all,

yet another newbie question, i have just got an mvp and after a few probs getting GB-PVR to run, i thought i would get the tv listings up and running but i cannot for the life of me fathom out how to add the xmltv files or where to get them in the first place!

Please Please can someone help?

note:- i do not have a pvr350 yet

Information on XMLTV and where to download the software etc can be found at http://membled.com/work/apps/xmltv/

When you've got your system producing XMLTV files, you can get GB-PVR to use them by editing the settings for the EPG Source in the Config app. This will allow you select a xmltv file. GB-PVR will automatically read this file some time between 3am and 4am, or you can force an update at any time you like using the Update EPG button in the Config app.

should rtfq sometimes, i'm in the uk and still can't work out how to get the base file

If you're in the UK, the easiest way to get TV data is to use grabepg (I'm a convert ) which can be downloaded from here:

http://www.rubiconsystems.com/tv/grabepg.zip

Or alternatively you can get a ready made XMLTV file from bleb.org at - see the following link from this board (it pays to search the board if you've got a problem!

What the GrabEpg program does is simpy provide a front ent for downloading the file from bleb.

Is any other UK user havring trouble accessing bleb.org for tv listings? I have not been able to acces the site for the last few days
