Hi all,

Apologies if this has been asked before.

If I am recording a programme, but then go off and watch something else (I have 2 sources) but then go back to the 1st programme I can only PLAY the recording, the option to WATCH live is gone.

Ian.

Are you talking about the buttons shown in the TV Guide when you press enter on a show that is recording? If so, this was done intentionally, because I thought having a 'play' and a 'watch' button was going to be too confusing.

The workaround is to change to the channel directly using the arrows or channel number (without using the epg).

In GB-PVR you could also watch a channel live by pressing the Play button on the remote from the EPG screen; I haven't noticed whether that logic has made it into NextPVR, but I'm guessing not.

You can do the same thing in NextPVR.

Yes that's it. An whilst I realize the workaround (Johnsonx42's post) I'd still like it in. Me and the wife have a regime where I quite often record stuff for her when she's out and whilst I continue to watch it live. I'll often channel hop as it's recording, so it's kinda important for me to have the watch option in so I can go back to live.

Perhaps you could have it as an option in settings with the default as off.

Ian.
