The Viaccess MPEG2 CI module works fine in nPVR, but not the new one (MPEG4). The new MPEG4 CI module works together with Fire DTV in there own SW "Fire DTV Viewer (Live TV). Help me please !

That's strange, my CAM decodes both MPEG2 and -4, are you sure that your smartcard isn't paired to your MPEG2-CAM? Is this cable or dvb-t?

I can pair my smartcard to ether CAM but I don't have to. It doesn't matter. Even when I put in the CAM without the smartcard in my Fire DTV-T and start nPVR - Nothing happens (I should at least se the free channels). But, with same config and start Fire DTV Viewer - You get a picture. The same happens wether I use my smartcard loaded or not. Should it be a driver installed for MPEG4 CAM or something in nPVR?
I cant think of any reason the cam would make any different. npvr would still make exactly the same request to the firedtv driver interface to decrypt the channel. Nothing about call would vary for MPEG4 vs MPEG2.
I'm guessing it is actually decoding it, but you dont have a good H.264 decoder, so you're not able to see it.
Try reproducing the problem, then post your npvr.log and I'll check what decoders you're using.
I have reproduced the problem. 1: Put in MPEG2 CAM with smartcard in - got picture. 2: Put in MPEG4 CAM with the same smartcard in - no picture.
I send the attachment. PVR fan_nPVR.log
