I suspect this may be a 1.5.33 bug as I'm sure they worked before, but I have also had to reinstall the GB-PVR server since I last tried so it maybe something my end....

I can't get pictures or even the source to open from the NMT using a network path it keeps coming up with a "something (path/drive) not found error" when I try to access the GB-PVR server pictures from the NextPVR server, it works fine locally when doing the same thing directly on the NextPVR server PC.

Good question, I have been/am flat out hand feeding baby birds currently so haven't had time to apply any patches, but hopefully tomorrow I will find the time & report back.

I made some time to update to the release version & then add the patches but unfortunately it didn't fix the problem for the NMT, the actual message is "Directory not found"

This may be a dumb sugestion... sorry if it is.

Did you configure NPVR with the unc path to the picture folder, e.g. \\server\pictures?

I used the built in search to setup the folder & did it again yesterday just in case something had changed, this is what is in config

<PictureLibrary extensions="^.+\.(bmp|jpg|png|tiff|tif)$">
<Directory name="C _Photos">C:\_Photo\</Directory>
<Directory name="Server _Photos">\\Pvr-server\_Photo\</Directory>
<Directory name="F-Drive">F:\</Directory>
<Directory name="Server-Photos">\\Pvr-server\_Photo\</Directory>
</PictureLibrary>

as you can see the Pvr-server is now listed twice.....

What I would really like to know is does it work for others, if so I then I know it is something my end that I have wrong.

Hi

'Pictures' is working fine on my install of .33

This is in my config

<PictureLibrary extensions="^.+\.(bmp|jpg|png|tiff|tif)$">
<Directory name="Photos">\\Server\Photos\</Directory>
</PictureLibrary>

it might be worth getting rid of references to "c:\..", "f:\..." and 1 of the duplicate lines?

Jaggy you didn't post logs, so it is tougher to help, but I'd bet on either the name (is _Photo your share name?) or the standard issue that MVP's and NMT's have running from a share, you need to set the user name on the recording service or run ShareHelper.

I didn't post log "this time" because I don't think there is anything in them but anyway here they are after accessing the server photos from within NextPVR on the PC (worked fine) & trying on the NMT (directory unavailable message)

I haven't changed the name from when it was working before, but I will try my backup photos directory which doesn't have the _ & is on a drive that the whole drive is shared unlike the _Photos that is shared separately

I didn't have to do this before for music or photos I only had to do it for videos??

Nothing there.

The _ wouldn't be in the directory it would be the share name.

Actually they would all have the same permission issues .
