I'm trying to use a Hauppauge 1600 blaster in NPVR with Windows 7 64bit. I found a thread from earlier this year saying that the blast config utility wasn't working. But it does work when you download the Hauppauge software noted in Johnson's "getting started" thread. The test function sends the correct numbers, etc. Haupblast also does work but it only sends channel 1952. Is there some reason Haupblast would do that? Does anybody else have it working? Thanks.

The highest numbered channel is 1952.

Not sure if I've provided a useful description of the problem, but I wonder if what I'm seeing in the device set-up window is related? All of the channels are listed as number 1953 though the channel numbers are correct in the channel dialog per the attached.

Have you tried editing the 1953 number to the correct channel?

Thanks. Hadn't occurred to me. That does work. Now I need to figure out why it is setting the number to 1953.

ISTR it defaults to the next or last one.

Setting up analogue from an STB with a blaster must be one of the most tedious parts of NPVR. I think I've had to do it a dozen times with 100+ channels and there is no easy way round it (that I can see).

Thanks. I'll admit I didn't want to hear that...
