I just installed 1.5.33 and set up my MVP with the new MVPMC dongle. Everything seems to be working fine except for the remote control. It seems that all of the skip keys (fwd, rev, pause) will only skip backwards.

Where are the keys defined, and how do I go about changing them.

Thanks

The keys are defined in the spec. Skipping in live tv is not possible however it should work on existing recordings. If it is your recordings upload your log and I will have a look.

Martin,
Thanks for your quick reply. I did not notice your post last night. The issue is with existing recordings. I have attached the logs.

I decided to try again today and verify the behavior. I found something interesting related to Comskip. If I play a file that I have not run Comskip on the remote will skip forward and backward - just not a a completely predictable amount. However on the recording with comskip, it will only skip backwards.

Sorry I missed your post yesterday, I'd prefer you not edit messages so they show up as new, I don't follow threads for changes.

I didn't see a comskip problem but there definitely is an issue with resume. You probably want to change this value to something higher.
