How do I cancel a recording?

In the Guide, I clicked the quick record button to set a program to record. Problem was, I noticed that I already had both tuners set to record at the same time, so I needed to cancel it. I couldn't.

1) I tried pressing the Record button again, to toggle the recording (An assumption that it might work like that. If it doesn't, it should, I reckon).
2) Hit enter and tried Update. I could not use any of the arrow keys to change the record options.

Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug?

When you hit Enter there should be the option "Cancel".

Duh! Thanks, that did it. I had just thought "Cancel" cancelled the dialog box that comes up.

@Sub: Maybe it should read "Cancel recording" since Cancel in Windows buttons means close dialog.

Nah, not worth it. It would need bigger buttons (particularly on 4:3 screens). Personally I dont think its needed. There has probably been 3 posts over the last 7 years with people being confused over these buttons.

Actually, there appears to be a bug around this Cancel button. And it explains why I thought it was a "cancel dialog" and not a "cancel recording" button, having experienced this behaviour before.
It's just happened to me now:

1) On TV7's "World's Best" programme, I hit the "Record" button.
2) Moved along the timeline, to another day which had the same programme with the same title AND the same description. I hit the "Record" button.
3) Now realising that the same episode was on different days, I could go back to the previous day and free up the tuner by cancelling the other recording. So I went back to the other recording.
4) I hit "Enter". Arrowed down to "Cancel". Hit ENTER.
5) The dialog disappeared and showed the timeline again, but the program was still marked as red, showing that a record is still scheduled. BUG?

So I tried again...

6) I hit "Enter". Arrowed down to "Cancel". Hit ENTER.
7) This time the red box disappeared.

So maybe it has something to do with having the same title (with the same description) on the same channel scheduled twice?
