I've downloaded both FFDshow and DScaler4, and I cannot tell whether or not they are actually being used by GB-PVR. Is there a way to tell? I don't see any icons in my system tray, or any other indication that these "installations" have done anything at all.

Can anyone point me to a place like "ffdshow and Dscaler for morons" site? There seems to be a high level of expertise and/or computer science degrees that is assumed by the community, that I simply don't have.

Thanks to all.

Most people turn on the OSD in FFDShow to check its working. This'll put some green text in the corner of the screen telling you whats going on.

I dont know about DScaler, I've never used it.

Yes - I see the green letters. Good to know. That info may help. I'm getting 100% CPU usage - which surprises me for my CPU.
There are SOOO many settings in FFDshow - I guess I don't even know where to begin. I suppose with an exhaustive search of the forums....
So. Much. To. Do.
