Can't have XP as the tearing is horrendous. Most nettops don't have HDMI output or the required graphics capability to support DXVA. Atom processors can't do it without...

OK guys, here is a test version of the database builder. Please try this out and send me the log files. this will give me some additional info, so hopefully we can get this solved.

DH,

Here you go,,,
Besides the new files in /logs/ dir there were a few other 'new' files created as a result of running "TX Desktop" - so I included them as well

Thanks a lot,

Thanks a lot,

I think you used the wrong file, the logs are missing the additional output parameters that I added in. Please make sure you use the test version (dated 11/15/10).

Hmmm...

I tried running the same file again, but this time running the TX DatabaseBuild.exe directly (instead of running TX Desktop.exe as before) - it ran through step 1 and it's running step 2 now. Not throwing the err code 14523 for each movie at the moment, also it's not producing files in /logs/ for each movie either - so it seems to be running okay ATM.

So because of this apparently not throwing errors, I'm not to interrupt it. Will have something more for you in 2.5
hours +/-

Was my mistake that I assumed running Desktop would run the new version of DatabaseBuild ???

EDIT -- and, shazamm, it is also building the movie.ntf file!!!

Excellent! Glad to hear it is working for you now. If you haven't already please take a moment to rate my app on the Netflix website.

There were some errors logged - attached is the zip up.

After completing the db build I ran the TX Desktop and got (eventually) two screens from which I was able to view Watch Instantly.

However, the screen for my Watch Instantly Queu would not scroll - so unless I'm missing some trick its usage becomes quite limited.

Please advise what you find from the attached logs -- would like to learn what the problem was.

And kindly post a notice when the latest database builder is incorporated in the complete package.

Thanks for your support on this,

Thanks for your support on this,

The movie info on the website is not complete for http://www.netflix.com/WiMovie/The-Lonel...kid=814418 (missing length of movie), so that is why you got the error. So you lost 1 movie out of 11,607 Big Grin I call that improvement!

Please send me a screen shot of the problem you are getting with the queue not scrolling, not sure I've seen that problem before.

Also, my program will notify you when the new version is released. it bugs you each time you open an old version (unless you turn it off in options).

Thanks,

-DH
