Its not clear from this where you're saying the problem is. Is it that mc2xml is only producing a file with 7 days, or that npvr is only loading 7 days? If the former, then its out of my control. If the later, then zip and post the xmltv file and I'll take a look.

it looks like the mc2xml is only giving 7 days of data. I was wondering if someone knew why. It was always 15 days with gbpvr but I was using the built in support for it and not mc2xml. i cant wait until it is built in!

The only thing that works for me, and I'll have to wait a few more days to see if this still holds true, was to delete the .dat file, remove all the options such as -a, -F etc. and run it again. Sometimes I have to switch between Schedules Direct and Microsoft Legacy but lately, SD has worked for me. My .xml file did appear to list all 15 days of programming but for me, things seemed to get worse with each daily update and I know of no way, other than manual updates to set NPVR to only update every 3 days or so.
I think MS Media Center updates every 2-3 days which would work fine for me.

you need to add the parameter "-d 360" to your mc2xml command if you want 15 days of data (15 days=360 hours). mc2xml defaults to 7 days.

Thanks for that. Is that with SD or MS Legacy? Anything else added? I had no luck at all but may try again.

Since MceEpg2XmlTv has been shelved and there seems to be only mc2xml that is the follow-on utility perhaps you know about who the mc2xml developer is/was as I just noticed that the main site for mc2xml grabber is dead
http://mc2xml.110mb.com/ and http://mc2xml.110mb.com/#gbpvr

Is that the grabber you were referring to?

Your thoughts?

I never tried the GUI but MceEpg2XmlTv's command line still works. MCE is not being developed so I am hoping it will run for a while.
