When the name of the program is change, the recurring recording runs wrong.
For example, I want to record every day at timeslot 8:00 to 10:00 a series film "Mystery Woman"
But in TV-Guide EPG, when the name change every day buy adding the number like "Mystery Woman (01)" or "Mystery Woman (02)" ... then NPVR doesn't record it.

I commented on a the same problem fairly recently. I've found npvr far more picky over differences in the end of names than GBPVR ever was. So as you say, when episode numbers/names/comments are added to the end of the name it wont record, which is annoying.

you could use an advanced recording rule to grab that one... "title like 'Mystery Woman%' " etc etc....[%=wildcard]

but i agree, i liked the old 'match beginning' method...

lol - I cant win. People complained like hell when I chnaged GBPVR to record that way, so I decided when I implemented NPVR not to repeat the same problem.

I guess it depends whether a whether you're trying a recurring on a show with a short name which ends up with heaps of incorrect matches, or a long or unique name that ends up only matching the things you wanted.

If you use the advanced rules to find something and then flag it as a recurring recording does the advanced rule still apply to upcoming recordings in the future?

p.s. I like the old method better as well - I'd much rather catch something I didn't want and lose something that I did want Wink
