Hi all,
New user here.
I am trying to install NPVR with a Winfast tv2000 XP card for analog channels. Based on the attached filtercheck.log file, I put the following in the AnalogDevices.xml file:

<Device filter="WinFast TV2000 XP WDM Video Capture">
<Name>Winfast TV2000 XP</Name>
<Type>SOFT_ENCODE</Type>
</Device>

Whenever I try to use an analog channel, i get the following error message:
unable to located capture filter's 'analog video in' pin.(2)

I also have an ATI TV WONDER 600 card (which I use for digital channels), and the analog tuner on that card works with npvr, so I assume I installed the required softpvr components correctly.

Also, the winfast card works perfectly with DScaler, both with using the "WinFast TV2000 XP WDM Video Capture" DShow filter and without using directshow.

Thanks!

Are you really in the USA as indicated by your profile? If not, what are those pin names translated to english?

you're in the USA but your driver has some of the pin names in... Hungarian? theoretically it shouldn't matter, but in practice it's probably either tripping over the special characters or getting fouled up because the pin names are different in different filters, like "Analóg videobemenet" in one place, "Analog Video Input" in another place.

try downloading a new driver

Wow, indeed those were fast responses. I am in the US, but I am using Hungarian Windows XP. After changing all the regional settings in Windows to US/English, I tried to reinstall the drivers, but they still show up in Hungarian. They mean the following:
Rögzítés-Record
Elonézet-Preview
Analóg videobemenet - Analog video inpu

I will try to play around with it more tomorrow. Thanks for the quick help!

I've made a change that should get it working in the next release, but if you need it going in the meantime you'll need to find a way to get the english pin names instead of Hungarian.

Thanks! So far I haven't managed to change the pin names, so I might just have to wait for the new release.

it's a multilanguage driver so editing the driver's .inf strings is only way to go unless you reinstall windows or add windows english language pack...
but when i look in drivers, all the strings are in english here...
seeems the rest are hardcoded inside the driver for localization so no real way to edit..
