I'm not trying to hijack this thread, but is there a fix for the HDHR issue? Sounds like there isn't given the "long standing" nature of the issue.

Thanks

But if you are positive that you have used both cards simultanously (and I mean recording/watching at the same time, not just having them installed) under gbpvr then it should not be the driver causing problems. What windows are you running, and is it the same as you used gbpvr under?

I'm running XP SP3 & all updates and this is exactly the same (and same PC) as under GBPVR.

I believe I'm having the same problem. Some scheduled recordings show as "Failed" since upgrading to 1.5.36 - closer investigation revealed they're ones that seem to start OK but ultimately fail when an overlapping show starts to record. Once a recording fails, all subsequent ones also fail until Recording Service is restarted. Environment has not changed in a long time (dual-core CPU, 1.5GB mem, Windows XP, 2 PVR-150s).

Here are my logs if they help (NRecord.log.1 shows a good example):

Glynderi Wrote:Hi,

I've noticed in the past week or so that recordings are failing when I try to record 2 different progs at the same time.
Running XP SP3, all updates, all required add-ons as listed in the installation sticky. I have tested this in the past few days and if I schedule 2 recordings at least one, sometimes both fail. Recording a single program is fine.
I have 2 x Hauppage PCI 9000 cards.

Running v1.5.36 of NPVR

Logs directory attached.

Thanks

Robin
What actually happens? Do you end up with a zero byte second file, or maybe a small file but with some data in it? Something else?

Does the original recording continue without any problems?

in my case, the first recording is truncated at the point when the second recording was supposed to begin. The file plays fine in VLC up to that point. The second recording never starts, meaning no files are created in the directory for that show. And when I said "all subsequent ones fail" I meant that they show as "Failed" in Recordings, and the reason given is "recording service not running at recording time". No files are created for any of those either. Hope that helps....

The logs.zip you posted above has no files in it. Post the logs and I'll take a look.
