Yeah those wild bikinis will get you every time Big Grin

This movie is a known problem, if you visit the site: http://movies.netflix.com/WiMovie/How-to...kid=815008 you'll see the movie is listed as "unavailable" but it keeps showing up in the list of watch instantly movies. The program shouldn't halt though, it should move on after this and complete the update.

Did you manually stop the update, or did it crash after this? If you manually stopped it, try again and let the program complete. Let me know.

Nope I never manually stopped it. I ran the updater again and it hangs a very long time at 25% on the same movie like 10 minutes, then another shorter pause of about a minute on "Spring Breakdown". Same results when opening the app... Logs attached

This might have something to do with the change in web addrtess, they use movies.netflix.com now instead of http://www.netflix.com. I can change that and see if it helps, it might be that the internal web browser is not forwarding you to the correct address properly. I'll need to send you a test version. In the mean time can you send me a couple of html files from the following links:

http://movies.netflix.com/WiGenre?vt=tg&...tr=mhwG296

http://movies.netflix.com/WiMovie/The_Ph...height1416

http://movies.netflix.com/WiMovie/Dexter...id=1996866

That is weird, it works for all the other genres, but not my queue... and plus everything is working for you and Mike S. Here are the files.

IGNORE THIS POST - Given that tidbit, I should probably ask for the html file for your queue. Can you send that over? I'll have a test version with the http://www.netflix changes to movies.netflix in a bit. - IGNORE THIS POST

I figured it out.

I can always count on you to find the errors in my program Big Grin

OK, so apparently Netlfix changed the web address of the instant queue, the reason mine and Mike's were working is because the database build picked up all of the movies in our queue from the separate genres. Your queue must have a movie in it that isn't in your database, thus you are getting an error when the progrm tries to rebuild your queue. Try the attached file and let me know if it works. It did for me, so hopefully it is fixed and I'll get a new release out. I am working on the negative filtering as well.

Sad to report, same results... is there a way to tell what flick is screwing it up? Do I need to do a total rebuild of DB?

EDIT: After full database rebuild... working fine... thanks.. we make a good team!!! LOL Wink

Hey Snooze,

Good news: I was able to figure out a method for combined positive/negative filtering of movies by genre. Bad news: it will require a major rewrite of the startup code. So I will get it completed for the next release, for now I am adding in the other requested changes for this minor update, because I anticipate most people running into the problem you had within the next week or so. I will have the filtering in the program by the beginning of February.

Thanks,

-DH

Well I just couldn't make you wait Smile Try out the attached file and let me know how you like the filtering, or if you'd like it to work differently.

Open the filtering dialog box using the blue button (ctrl-B). Then you need to use the red button (ctrl-R) to move a genre into the remove category and the green button (ctrl-G) to move a genre into the subgenre category. You can do any combination of the two. Let me know what you think!

You will also need to update your database for the filtering to work.
