I scheduled 2 recordings last night. One for midnight, and another for 12:30am. The midnight one recorded fine, but when it came to the 12:30am one, it was extremely corrupted, both audio and video.

I've had gbpvr do this to me only once when switching channels. For some reason changing the channel caused every single channel to become corrupt when watching live tv, and I had to restart the whole program.

What can I do to fix this?

What capture device you're using?

If its an analog device, all you could try is updating the drivers. For digital devices, you can look at the mux filter you're using, and also investigate signal strength.

WinTV USB2 PVR2. I have it set so that time-shift TV says on all the time, which *could* have caused the problem.

It is running on a HP laptop that is dedicated. GB PVR is the only program it is running. It has:

P4 3.2 Ghz
1 GB pc3200
100 gig 5400rpm HD
Win XP Home, SP2

The OS is clean, I take care of my computers Smile Not many programs are installed, and the antivirus it is running is Avast, so much less footprint than Norton/Mcafee

It is analog. I am using it with basic cable. I've tried updating the drivers from happauge's website before, but that didn't go very well, so I ended up going back to the drivers on the CD. Think I should try updating again?
