Does version 2.6.2 (current full release) do this as well, or is it only the test versions I have sent you?

I just installed TX Desktop 2.6.2 from sage site, that one does it as well... but i distinctly remember, the trial version number you had me trying was 2.7.0. And I think I was on 2.6.1 before, so I never had to update to 2.6.2. So maybe something happened between there?

EDIT: Found old version of 2.6.1 and its still doing it. Reverted back to 2.7.2. Could it be a supporting file Interlop... not the EXE?

If I am the only one with this problem, I can let applications on top of my task bar.. I hate to have you use up your time on me for this.

Was it doing it on the old stable release 2.6? That would be the one you used for quite a while. The only thing I changed between 2.6 and 2.6.1 was fixing a couple of bugs related to the database builder, which wouldn't have changed any of the drawing behavior. Any chance you haven't rebooted in a while???? Smile

Hey Marbles,

Are you getting any problems with your taskbar popping up? What version of Windows are you using?

No, I stupidly haven't been keeping previous releases. Do you remember it happening previously?

The adox file is the new one, but the others haven't changed, so that shouldn't affect anything, since the older program doesn't use it. On my computer I have to use the program heavily for 5-10 minutes (opening and closing episode lists, filtering the list, unfiltering, etc.) before the taskbar problem pops up. Not sure why it is happening on yours so frequently.

Thats ok, if I am the only one with this, I will let apps ride over. We tried Wink

EDIT: Autohide Taskbar keeps it down too. You can see it still pop up, but it is still hid... just a fine line at the bottom. I always used this on my older machine, so I may never have noticed it in the past if it was happening. If you let apps ride on top, no fine line.

EDITX2: I just confirmed on my old machine that there is not the same problem and it is using 2.6.1.

It must be a problem on my machine.

Can you verify the files on my current machine? Image attached.

I am reinstalling 2.6.2, rebuilding database, and turning auto updates until the next official release. I had things so messed up trying things that I was getting crashes with dbl files. I am ok with the taskbar issue, I am sure it is my problem.

Am recording one show, postprocess for comskip on another, watching live tv, and rebuilding the database... 56% CPU utilization Big Grin
