Unable to setup NPVR with Hauppauge PVR-150

have you tried the Microsoft DTV-DVD Video decoder? that works great for me and most other users.

ffdshow should work too, but you have to go into it's settings and make sure NextPVR.exe is in the whitelist.

if you do want to use a codec pack, you should probably try Hoborg's SAF 5 - see sticky in the Wishlist forum. He made it specifically for NPVR.

sub, you were right.
I did that and was able to set it up without the error.
However, I still cannot see the TV. I can hear it but cannot see it.
checked the log file and saw that it had a problem with the MPEG decoder.
I searched the forum and found that I need to re-install the decoder.
I installed the latest k-lite cdec pack.
The log file now does not show the decoder error.
But I still do not see the TV.
Please look into the attached logs if you can see the prblem.

I can see in your logs that the ffdshow video decoder is refusing to hookup, which explains the missing video. As johnsonx42 mentioned above, you may need to add nextpvr.exe to the application white list in the ffdshow settings, or maybe enable that video type.

What video decoder have you set for MPEG? Or do you receive H.264?
