Hi,
can anyone help me with the following error message?
"GB-PVR was unable to start the BDA device you have configured...Reason:Failed to locate the configured BDA capture device"
I tried two different cards (Technotrend Premium S 1.6 and Technotrend Budget S1102) and only tried BDA Driver Version 4.4.10.0. Which drivers do i need for these cards. Is there a way to check weather the driver is ok with another test program?

Thanks

Email your logs to me at support@devnz.com and I'll take look. I suspect it'll say it cant find the BDA drivers on your machine.

I'm not familiar with the drivers versions etc, since I dont use these cards myself, but I do know they only have BDA drivers for their Budget cards, not the Premium range.

Hi Sub
Ok - i´ll do that this afternoon. But there is already another question i´d like to ask. I want to use my xcard so is it true that the Technotrend budget card would be sufficient (using the MPEG decoder from the xcard)? What about the AC3-Output of the xcard - can it be used for sound output?

You logs indicate you've been trying a random selection of card types, but none of those cards listed in you logs found the correct drivers on your machine.

You say "GB-PVR v0.92.8 needs Twinhan BDA drivers v1.2.1.9 or higher".
Do you have a source for these drivers. At Twinhan.Com there ist 1.2.1.7.
Are you shure these drivers work with the low budget card from Technotrend?

Thanx Nick
do you know if the cards from Technotrend work with it?
I´ve got a low budget card and a premium (with mpeg decoder on board) card.

Comments from anybody else here??? Please!!!!

Sorry,

I haven't managed to get my Twinhan DVB -S card to work with them yet (still seems a bit strange that my old drivers were version 2.4.1.0 and now I'm changing to 1.2.1.9)
I'll let you know if I get anywhere.

cypher0815, I got your email with no information attached so I had no idea what your problem was or what hardware you had. Looking in the logs you were trying to use TwinHan drivers but it wasnt finding them, so I though you had a twinhan device but were using the older twinhan driver. Obviously Twinhan drivers are from TwinHan devices.

Now reading your post here, I can see you have a technotrend device, so ignore twinhan comment.
