When you record using the 'TS Mux' multiplexer option in GB-PVR, I cant really think of any significant differences. They're do thinks almost exactly the same way.

Well, to my dismay, I am having this problem and I have Fusion 5 and HDHR and cannot use them both at the same time. Would moving to Windows 7 fix this issue?

I have 3 HVR-2250 cards in the computer. Two are setup for ATSC, and the other is set for QAM. This is duplicated on two other computers with the same hardware. No issues on the other two computers, only on this one. (Actually, it did happen only once on one of those other computers during the past 45 days, but it was brief) My logs are attached. I tried to create more detailed logs... I created c:\temp and

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\NPVR\LogTSFlow=2 (DWORD)

(my registry has the npvr key under LOCAL_USER, so I created the DWORD there, and also created the DWORD under the key you suggested.)

I see no log files in the c:\temp folder, however. I am running Win7 64-bit Pro and v1.5.36 with the latest patches thru #29 & also separately installed #31. Thank you for fixing the issue in #31! Big Grin

On 64-bit Vista and W7 the reg.entries are in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432NODE\NPVR

Would it matter? DHL is using Win7 and I suspect you are having the HDHR problems other XP users have with NPVR when there are multiple tuners.

Well, if this is unique to XP, I would buy Win 7 and install it rather than lose one tuner. I am willing to make the time/money investment if I know it would be fixed.

nothing is guaranteed, but everyone who's reported this trouble has been on XP, whereas all those reporting that it works fine have been on Vista or 7. Plus, it's 2011, and XP is oh-so-1999.

I have not encountered the issue again, yet, while in a position to effect the registry change. the odd thing is that I have 3 identical computers with identical hardware/software, and this problem only occurs on one of those computers. I am successfully using 6 tuners (3 cards) on the other two computers, successfully. So, Win7 might resolve the issue, per se. I am running Win7 64-bit Pro.
