My PC will not hibernate anymore

Ever since I upgraded to the latest version of GBPVR my computer will not hibernate, it never had a problem before. It always woke up to record a show and went back into hibernation after it was done. Has anything changed in the new version??

Sure nothing else changed? =) Seriously, though, I have this problem from time to time, but I can't quite figure out what the problem is. Sometimes it's enough for me to once force the computer into hibernation (start menu->turn off computer->press shift and the standby button turns into a hibernation button), and after that the computer has woken up once, it will hibernate automatically. Other times, connecting to my GBPVR box with tightVNC and then disconnect helps (I have a tightVNC server running on my gbpvr box).

I can't say that any of these will work for you, but hopefully it will inspire you to try not-so-obvious things =)

FYI, Hibernation is not an easy Windows XP thing. If you read online, you'll see that windows does a poor job doing power management.... so it's most likely a windows thing
