Often I play ripped DVD's (VIDEO_TS + AUDIO_TS) without menu's. When starting the playback goes fine, but I cannot stop it. Stop doesn't do anything.
Next, since there is no menu I cannot (or dunno how) change/set subtitles. The Ctrl-Y shortcut doesn't work.

Only way to stop the playback: ctrl-alt-del - taskmgr - End process...

Solution for this? Related to codecs perhaps ? (Using SAF)

Hi.
When i rip DVDs to folder, i use ifoedit to modify DVD to jump directly to menu after start.

If you right click in nPVR durning DVD playback -> STOP - does it stop playback ?
I think nPVR doesn't have DVD playback keys definition right now.

I've noticed this too. I'm assuming it's just something that sub hasn't got around to yet.

DVDs also don't have resume prompts or seem to honour the remember-last-used-aspect-ratio setting either.

I use it to watch DVD's a lot, but that is (for me) the only thing which is not close to perfect.

I have noticed this too. The lack of resume is rather annoying the wife Smile

The subtitle shortcut in npvr is ctrl-x, does it work on dvd playback?

You could try this patch for audio/subtitle toggling. Green/Yellow keys, Alt-G/Alt-Y (though does also support Ctrl-G/Y for those still using old GBPVR keyboard mappings).

Yep, that seems to work perfectly! Cheers sub.

I particularly like the fact it displays the selected option on screen now too. Although you might want to tweak the positioning a little. In this example, the full text (from the popup menu) would be "DVD Subtitles - English (United States)" but you can see from the image how much is actually being shown.
