Hauppauge HVR 2250 on XP 64bit (x64)

Hi

Just for info, i bought a Hauppauge HVR2250 (1213, which is the MC kit with the Microsoft Remote) board today, installed in an Intel DG965RY board, downloaded the WIndows drivers only from Hauppauge, installed the board, loaded drivers.

All went well, with NPVR v1.5.36 it sees the board fine (both tuners, so 4 inputs). I have not tuned or recorded anything as yet but will update.

The only different between the non MC Kit (known as OEM 1229) is that doesnt have the remote or the IR blaster cables, it does have the daughter board and input cables though, both have the low profile PCI mounting plates as well (mine is in a 2U server so needs to be low profile).

wait, noticed something, this is showing:

However where are the Composite, S-Video and stereo inputs (have 2 of each, 1 onboard the other via a daughter board).
Last how do i access the IR Blaster and receiver through NPVR?

See the sticky support thread. Analog is only available if your have MainConcept mux filter on your machine (from SoftPVR).

Fixed, i wasnt aware that:
a. The 2250 had an analog tuner
b. it would be listed as needing the mux, i thought this was for the PVR units only (which didnt have a tuner in them from memory, might be wrong about that).

Thanks, wasnt aware that all anolog tuners needed this fix, thought it was the PVRxxx units only, however running that file fixed it instantly, i now have 2 "Tuners" which i can add Composite and S/Video as a channel inside each tuner....
