I am using Vista and running NPVR as administrator.
I've noticed that after running a channel scan on my DVB-S tuners NPVR stops responding after the scan is complete & I click on "ok" to exit the scan window.
Vista then closes NPVR and after relaunching NPVR the channels details are fine, so not really a problem but I ought to mention it.
After having done an initial scan yesterday using Freesat only, I chose to do a re-scan today using Astra 2. All was fine until I got to the last tuner when NPVR now comes up with an error message saying that the device failed to start.
I've checked in device manager and all looks fine and it was obviously ok yesterday. I've also shut down the pc and restarted but still the message persists.
Does anyone have an idea whether this is really a hardware problem or is it a software/driver problem?
For reference I have 2 dual PCTV Sat Pro tuners numbered 1 to 4 in the devices screen. It is PCTV Stargate Tuner #4 which fails to start. I have attached all NPVR logs - could someone have a look please and give me some pointers?
Thanks as always, I really appreciate the assistance of the board members.
