YESSSSS! That works a treat! I did have the wrong number! How did you get to the number 69 (if that's not a rude question!)?

To be honest I have no idea what that number means, but saw it as a variable in one of the .ini files and decided to give it a go, as the scan mode seemed to change to DVB-S2 when on that line.

I can third this, you need to add that transponder to the ini file. Should probably be added to the Freesat Only INI too.

Anyone managed to crack NHK World TV in HD?

I thought I was getting close with:
Code:
=11224,V,27500,23

which seemed to list it but there's no picture
Code:
T:11224,V,27500,23~NID:32~ONID:2~TSID:2312~P:53147~V:2345~VTYPE:H264~A:2346~L:eng(AC3)~PMT:274~PCR:8191~N:>NHK World TV (HD)

Weirdly though, DVDDream picks it up (and displays it) as:
Code:
T:11223,V,27500,0~TSID:2312~P:53147~V:2345~A:2346~PMT:274~E:T~PCR:8191~N:>53147

but that doesn't work in GBPVR at all.

While we're at it, can someone explain - in terms of these tuning files (which I assume are applicable to NPVR too) - what the initial tuning numbers mean? My understanding is frequency, horizontal/vertical, then symbol rate (?) and then?

...then FEC. You can often leave it as zero, or use numbers like "34" for 3/4, "78" for 7/8, "12" for 1/2, etc.

Ah, of course. Thanks. My brain only ever read it as "thirty four" and never made the connection.

So what's the 69 in the earlier Channel 4 example: T:12607,V,27500,34,69 ?

That last optional number carries DVB-S2 Pilot and Rolloff bit flags

//Bit 0-1: Modulation (0 = Auto, 1 = QPSK, 2 = 8PSK, 3 = 16QAM)
//Bit 2: Modulation System (0 = DVB-S, 1 = DVB-S2)
//Bit 3-4: Roll-Off (0 = 0.35, 1 = 0.25, 2 = 0.20, 3 = reserved)
//Bit 5-6: Spectral Inversion (0 = undefined, 1 = auto, 2 = normal, 3 = inverted)
//Bit 7: Pilot Symbols (0 = off, 1 = on).
