Yep, it work great with a BTC ir keyboard

The problem area, for me, is list scrolling using the up/down buttons. Its very quick using a keyboard. With the remote there is a delay when pressing a button & the response.
Its slow repeating a button press & it caches the presses so when you release the button it carries on scrolling.

I have a cheap mce remote. The buttons that do work are as fast as the keyboard.

About how many items does it each second? How many does PVRX2 do on the same system?

Which screen is this list on? If Music/Video/Picture library, is this list a network drive, or local drive? For example, loading fan art from a network drive can be slow, and this can have a major impact one key presses being queued up.

To take fanart and network drives out of the mix, you could try extracting the attached zip file into a video library directory somewhere on your local C: drive, and see how long it takes you to scroll past the list of these 100 empty directories with your keyboard vs remote.

OK, one pc, 2 hard drives, no network drives
nPVR, Ready Recordings, showing 1/117.
At the first item in the list I am pressing the down arrow for 5 seconds.
After 5 secs its reached the 12th item in the list & I release the button. It carrys on scrolling down the list & stops at 56/117, about 35 secs!

On PVRX2
Ready Recordings show 108 items.
I press the down key for 5 secs & it instantly stops at 61/108.

These recordings are in the same folder on the same drive.

Try it with the video library using that set of empty directories I posted above, so we can be testing the same thing.

Ok, I copied this to my Videos folder.
nPVR.
Its showing 1/101 (parent dir icon selected)
Press down button for 5 secs. Bloody hell, I released the button after 5 secs, it had reached 14 on the list. It carried on down the list for nearly a minute & stopped at 68. Sad
Using the keyboard it stopped instantly at test-88 after 5 secs.

PVRX2,
Pressed button for 5 secs & it stopped dead when I released at 57 on the list

Hope this helps Smile

Hmm, thats odd - when I do this here with NPVR, 5 seconds gets me to about the 20th item, and when I remove my finger it stops immediately. I see pretty much exactly the same in PVRX2.

Can you repeat that test, then post your npvr.log file?

GBPVR with keyboard - 5 second press, went to 79 and stoped instanlty
GBPVR with MCE - 5 second press, went to 89 and stopped instantly
GBPVR with 45 button - 5 second press, went to 47 and stoped at 51 (less than a second later)
NPVR with keyboard - 5 second press, went to 69 and stopped instantly
NPVR with MCE - 5 second press, went to 101 and stopped instantly ( I think)
NPVR with 45 button - 5 second press, went 9 and stopped at 58 about 30 seconds later
