Yeah, I'm not saying that is 100% correct - I just wanna see if it gets their navigation going. We'll soon know if it corrects their problem.
I didnt write that section myself, it was just one found via the forum search.

BTW, when I first tried Npvr, I just copied the GBPVR part of the irremote.ini into a NPVR part and I don't recall having issues. This time when I did it I used the wiki info which seems it was not right for me. Thanks again

I'm glad to hear it was "user error", and nothing wrong with NPVR.

Seems very unlikley there would be a problem with NPVR.

Hi all. Wow, thanks for the assistance. I confirm that cleaning up the comments in the ini file has solved it for me as well.

Yep - a lot a better now, thank you for getting to the bottom of this mystery. Not sure about anyone else but the reason I copied the irremote.ini codes for npvr from the wiki was in an attempt to get the volume control working - it is not just a matter of OSD, when the npvr window has focus the volume up/down does not work. If you click on the desktop so that npvr looses focus, then it works fine. The remote codes on the wiki using app codes still did not work for me...
Can anyone else using the Hauppage remotes confirm if the volume control does / does not work?

I also installed Volume OSD so I could see it: http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?....VolumeOSD I do miss the volume bar though. Preferred that to looking at a percentage.
