Not here with NPVR, although I haven't spent a lot of time.
DVBViewer works OK with it.
NPVR saves a recording that I can't play within NPVR.
VLC just gives a quick flash of a frame or so.

Mediainfo gives:-

If you can make a small recording available, I'll check out why it's not playing.

It does plays fine with a timeline on NPVR via mvpmcx2.

Hmm, are you able to see PCR clock values? It looks like NPVR cant see these on the PC, so it races through the file in a half second or so.

mvpmcx2 don't use the PCR it uses the PTS values which are rock solid for this file but the pcr that NPVR used for the MVP time line without Timing.Info seems ok

Code:

I did get GBPVR to work with it at first using the cache details from DVDDream. That was when the broadcasts first started, but there was no sound (although apparently it was muted before broadcast).

I then ignored it for a few days, and also switched over to a Hauppauge 4400. I now only get a black screen with both DVDDream's tuning and GBPVR's own scan. Same in NPVR. DVDDream itself continues to show it fine though. I tried my original tuner again and it shows a black screen too.

I'll try to bundle up some log files tonight.

I've not tried this channel yet having been enjoying the weather and not paying much attention to the old GBPVR support forum. But I will give it a go and see how I get on. It always amuses me when new channels appear and all the comments on digitalspy about various boxes that cant receive it but my trusty GB/nPVR box has never yet failed! I'm guessing it wont be so with this channel... Smile

Some additional info.
I can watch live TV and recordings of NHK HD on the PCH - with a little stuttering at start though.
VLC still only shows a quick flash and exits. Live TV and playing recordings give blank screen on NPVR.

Rar file linked to has a later recording along with extracted timing.info text file.
logs should include, in order, try live TV on PC, quick record on PC, watch live TV on PCH.
