Small quibble: the wiki page shows 46 buttons, and two of them don't exist, at least not on my 3(!) Hauppauge 45 button remotes. The FUNC key and the FULLSCREEN key are not on this remote. Moreover the SUBCC key is not documented (SUBCC aka "#"). Also, it might be useful to point out that the TEXT key is aka "*".

Plenty of keys to go around Big Grin

So why not get a wiki account & edit the page yourself?? That's how the NextPVR wiki works & the more users doing it the better.

I have given up on it, so it's up to someone else now. I don't use that remote in that way so it doesn't affect me personally & the main reason I got involved was to prevent new users from the slow response problem because of the error in the config ini.

Good for you, it's only about one user in ten (or more) when it is suggest they edit the wiki that actually get off their bum & do it Wink

I assume you actually have a Hauppauge remote setup & working?? If so can you try the actual code off the wiki in an ini to see if it works properly? The reason I ask is there is that report in the going slow thread about record & pause not working & I have just had a report that stop also doesn't work.

Yes, I have two working Hauppauge remote setups. I'll take another look at all the code on the wiki.

Just another update after another PM........It seems that it is case sensitive after all & changing STOP={ctrl}S to STOP={ctrl}s & REC={ctrl}K to REC={ctrl}k got stop & pause working.

I though there was an old thread about lower case ctrl codes, but it may have been referring to KeyMappings.xml. My working .ini have lower case codes.

I missed the Menu button functionality, ie return to the main menu, so I've got this in the irremote npvr section -
MENU={esc}{esc}{esc}{esc}

I'm too lazy to press the Menu button more than once Big Grin

Yes, I haven't got Fullscreen & Func either, and my remote has 43 buttons, the same as the picture.
TEXt & SUBCC work in the irremote.ini

Actually the Vol and Ch rocker buttons are two buttons each, which brings the count to 45 ;-)
