Thanks sub. Tried the setting. It seems that having the long buffer setting on true makes it take a slight bit longer to crash. It might have taken twice as long as usual but that isn't much perhaps 10 seconds instead of 5. Maybe I'm just fooling myself here though?
I'll need to transfer the crash.mdmp file to another computer to compress and attach it. Will do so shortly. For what it is worth the Windows crash report dialog offers the following:
