I have been having problems with Audio Sync using Hdmi renderer (Gigabyte, Realtek on-board sound on XP with AMD 64 chipset), sound getting ahead of video over time. I found a fix and that was to set the audio renderer to default and set the mixer to Hdmi instead of my usual HD audio. This is a pain as I need the sound on hd for audio at the computer. It's easy enough to change it over but can only be done if the computer is booted with the TV on. Is this something that could be fixed through config.xml or does the problem go deeper?.
[edit]
This did not happen with Gb-Pvr, everything was hunky dory, as they say.
BTW Love your work, all of you. ;-)

anyone else want to take over? I've grown tired of it all. for now I've just linked to shiningdragon's patch list and archive (thanks SD), but I'm not going to be doing any further updates.

I've attached a text file containing the 'source code' of the 2nd post with all the formatting tags... if anyone wants to create a new sticky and use any of my original content, you can just paste it in.

I am thinking about this one, johnsonx42. But me too isn't available every day. Perhaps i'll do this like microsoft with it's "patchday" on windows update (most patches comes 1x per week). I am sorry to read, that you don't do any further updates. Sad

Well we all owe you a huge vote of thanks for the work you have done on the survival guide up to this point. I know that I might have given-up on some releases without this valuable resource.

well I had a wild hair tonight so I updated the patch post with all current patches. this shouldn't be taken to mean that I'm back full time, but at least things are up to date for now (probably just in time for sub to release a new version).

FWIW, the unmanaged.dll in the R1 patches does not appear to fix the screen resolution problem that this patch fixes: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post406596
