Folder.jpg not updating in metadata

I've been playing with metadata & fan art in Videos

If I change the folder.jpg image its not updated, the old image is retained.
I tried deleting it & inserting the new folder.jpg but this made no difference.

If I rename the folder, say Burn Notice to Burn Notice- the correct image is displayed but when I change the name back the old deleted image is displayed again.

This happens with 2.0.3 & 2.1.4

I can confirm this too. I was just on my way here to report it. I switched some folder.jpgs around and I'm still seeing the old one.

I know that for Recordings, the images are cached in various scaled sizes in the Thumbs directory. When this happens to me and I want to change the image, I just go into the Thumbs directory and delete all of the old images for the show (there are usually multiple ones at different sizes). Then NPVR will use the new ones from the Media\Shows directory. I'm betting the Videos are doing the same thing for images.

I deleted a lot of thumbs\xxx.jpg files & the correct images are now displayed

When you replaced the folder.jpg, was it with a new file? ie, with a date/time after the thumbnail?

Same here, I was messing around with custom folder jpgs for my Videos divided into genres. I replaced a folder.jpg saved on 7/5/11 with a newer one from 7/6/11. After two reboots and almost 2 days, it is still showing the old one.
