No sound on HD recordings

Hi, I deleted all the logs so it is clean. started npvr and recorded abc 24 which is HD. stopped recording after 30 seconds. Stopped npvr service. Opened recoreded file, got picture but no sound. Attached are the logs. Let me know what you all think, thanks everyone

I don't use NPVR to watch recordings, this is done on any windows machine wirelessley in the house or through my tv in the lounge room. all have the same outcome in no sound on hd channels. I'm in brisbane australia

ok, i had to zip the two log files. So here they are

I can't see any sign of playing a recording in those logs. Did you go into "Recordings", select a recording and press Play?

ok i can play hd recordings through NPVR and i get sound

but not through any computer or tv, i get the video etc and standard hd works, should i bother getting logs for when i play back through NPVR as this shows that it works.

What do you mean by "any computer or TV"? Does this computers have npvr installed and running in client mode? If so they probably lack the AC3 codec. Is your TV connected to a computer?

no only one computer has NPVR. Its sole purpose is to record tv. It dosen't matter what is connected. if i can't playback through normal windows media player then it won't play back on the tv.
