The above patch also fixes "Multi record + multi tuners" See this thread http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...HDHR/page3
This one is very important, and I'll probably be updating the installer to include it (along with the other current patches at the time). Its not HDHR specific, even though this device is mentioned in the post title. It potentially effects all devices in multi-device setups.

thanks for updating me with these. I've been travelling & AFK for the past couple of days. I'll get these added to the the list today.

sub, let me know when the installer is re-released... would it worth incrementing the version number a little, just to avoid confusion over which version a user is running? maybe 2.1.5?

I'm undecided on this. I dont really like increasing the version number for such a small amount of change.

How about 2.1.4b Big Grin

Seriously though, I think it would be worth it to avoid confusion.

How about a minor letter suffix like 2.1.4b then it may be possible to add a post to the survival guide thread with just something like
========== 2.1.4b =============
to show at what point the patches above are incorporated into the install package.

(I didn't think in the past that the install was tweaked at all (other than the odd, same day, change when something may have been overlooked).

edit: I type too slow ;(

Thats been true in the past, but I want people to get that particular patch installed, and it makes sense to update the installer for this one - so that we're not getting new installs each day without it.

These patches are so significant to NPVR users I think it should have a new identifier. Not everyone reads the forum regularly enough to know about the changes. You already mentioned to stustunz that you would consider something more distinctive than NPVRSetup.exe and this is a good place to start.

In case anyone is holding their breath for 2.1.5 Patch Release 1, I'm currently running with patches 1-10 installed; #10 hopefully fixes a problem that has plaugued my system for a long time. Assuming that I find no problems introduced on my system, I will make those first 10 patches the first cumulative patch and update the patch post on Friday.

edit: I will of course include any other patches reported to work released between now and then, such as patches #11 & #12 just added.

How about sub's improved NScriptHelper?
http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post415022

It is necessary for use with 64-bit operating systems.
