Tuning Assistant isn't working right.

Here is a screen shot of the error message I get. How do I fix this?
I am tring to run the tuning assistant. All of that info is right.

You dont actually need the tuning assistant, so you can just ignore it. It doesnt actually do anything.

Out of curiousity though, what type of capture device do you have.

Hmm an Admin admintting part of it is useless.


Also actullay I find it very usefull. It adds all the channels I have to GBPVR and it finds all the ones I have. I really want it to work. It is a hauppauge 250.

I'm not saying its useless. I'm just saying it doesnt do anything - it doesnt change any settings or anything. If you look at your system before and after running the Tuning Assistant, absolutely nothing would have changed.

Honestly, it doesnt it do anything. It doesnt add channel to GB-PVR or anything like that.

All it does, is help people understand what frequency their broadcaster transmit on, but for the users to do anything with this information, they'd have to write it down because nothing is stored. You can achieve the same goal with WinTV2000.

I don't know what is wrong. Also I set up two tuning devices.One my Composite port and one my f type coaxial. How do I switch between them?

Thats because you havn't setup your EPG in the config app.

You need to setup two capture sources if you want to use both the tuner and the svideo input.

I have set up EPG and I have set two different capture devices.

Click the 'Update EPG' button. It's saying you have zero channels. These channels are created when the EPG is updated for the first time.

Now that works. But how do I watch my NES on RCA? I added it as Composite 1 as seein I only hve one composite port. But how do I get to it?

Also I want to remove 3 channels how do I do that?
