skipping back not, subtitle out of sync, what is going on

Does anybody have problems skipping back ? I am on 2.2.6 now but I had the same problem on 2.2.5

Especially on recorded programs, It just refuses to skip back beyond a point.
It only just jumps a few seconds back (and sometimes forward!!) regardless of how many times/fast I press the skip back button.

Skipping forward works ok (ish) , jumpin 30 to 1 minute a time.


Also just noticed the subtitles are out of sync (by half a minute or so) on recroded programs ... Need to investigate that.

Painfull, aarghhhh . Sorry not much details right now, just frustrated.

I had a small number of recordings a few weeks ago where I couldnt' skip forward beyond a point. I had to sit through ads .. ugh. It was only a tiny number of recordings and I couldn't see any pattern. Have noticed skipping getting better not worse generally especially after I changed the small skip back from its default of 10s to 15s, but maybe that was just me.
