You can do an 'empty epg' before zipping it.

Did you do what I suggested though? ie, delete the database, and set up again?

Quote:I can't see where I am supposed to run HaupBlast.exe 30. If I run the cmd command off the start menu and enter haupblast.exe 30, it says it isn't recognized as an internal or external command.
You'll probably need to do a "cd c:\program files\npvr" (or "cd c:\program files (x86)\npvr" if you're on 64bit windows).

Quote:And, besides, as I've said, NPVR says "unable to find available capture device" when I try to view programming, so I won't be able to tell if the channel is being changed.
If you post the npvr.log/nrecord.log, then I'll take a look why you'd be getting that.

Thanks, sub. I'll do those things. But, just a quick question. By deleting the database, do you mean to delete all the channels?

Delete the c:\users\public\npvr\npvr.db3 file, then start NextPVR. This will start the application with an entirely fresh database, with no sign of your previous attempts.

I cleared the database, re-added the channels, pointed the program to haupblast.exe and then tried to view live TV. It now says, "Unable to communicate with recording device."

Is the recording service running? If not, then start it.

Sorry, sub. I had to stop the recording service in able to delete the npvr.db3 file, and I forgot to start it again. It is now started. I have added the channels again. I can view live TV with one set of channels instead of two, but the strange thing is, they just appeared, and quite quickly, and I didn't even have to enter my Schedules Direct username and password. I clicked on my device, chose import, chose Schedules Direct from the drop-down, and there they were. I am still seeing the "no show details" thing, though, in the listings. Where is the "update EPG" button? The command haupblast.exe 30 doesn't change the channel.

On the Settings->Channels screen.

This implies you haven't got your blaster setup correctly in the Hauppauge BlastCFG utility.

So, would hitting "update EPG" fix the "no show details" problem?

I'll try setting up the IR Blaster again. Okay, I ran the IR Blaster config program again. The code 80 worked to power the box on or off, but trying to send channel 123 failed. It still also says "No WinTV Channels Found!" under WinTV IR Blaster Source Channel.

Yes. It should give you listings.

Okay, the listings are there, but I am curious as to why they appeared without having to enter my Schedules Direct username and password. Also, as stated earlier, the code 80 worked to power the DCT700 box on or off, but trying to send channel 123 failed. It still also says "No WinTV Channels Found!" under WinTV IR Blaster Source Channel. How do I fix this?
