What do "Use alternate OSD with missing video" and "Handle MCE Remote events" do?

The first one is related to new code that attempts to deal with non-broadcasting channels, and tries to keep the OSD working (and displaying the correct channel information) as you channel flick through stuff like BBC3/BBC4 during their off-air hours. I guess the fix (which isn't fully functional) required a different type of rendering to be used or something.

Regarding the alternate OSD - normally video renderers will not display/update OSD graphics until the next video frame is presented. This is a problem if you're trying to display 'no signal' or 'video encrypted' type messages, which no video frames are being presented. This would previously just give a window that was left with what looked like a frozen frame of video from the last channel, or just black, and the OSD changes would not be showing. This change was attempt at forcing the OSD to appear using a few tricks.
I wasnt 100% happy with it, so it was off by default, but I'll try to improve over the coming releases.

MCE remote events - so, if it is unticked, it will ignore the MCE remote completely?
