Hi Sub,

Can you please tell me, if it is possible to add an album cover jpg ,to the folders in the Music Lib.

I think all you need to do is put a file called folder.jpg in the desired folder. I know there is a post here somewhere that says this, try searching for it.

Thanks for the reply,but I am not sure what you mean.Do I rename the album cover.jpg to folder.jpg and place it in the album folder. Will this also show the cover on the MVP?

Hi joecru,

Yes, just place any cover art in the must folder and call it either default.jpg or folder.jpg.

You can also show images for individual .MP3s or videos. If the audio file is called test.mp3 then it'll look for art called test.mp3.jpg.

Hi Sub,

I tryed as you suggested,but it dosen't seem to be working.

My Mp3 are stored in D:\My Music\(Album Folders)

Eg:- I put the U2.jpg into the U2 Album Dir and renamed it folder.jpg, but I still can't see the cover art on the folder when using the MVP. Am I doing something stupied, or is there something else in the config options I need to do.

There is no option to set, it just does it (when you're in icon mode - not list mode).

If you have directory called D:\MyMusic\U2, and a file called D:\MyMusic\U2\folder.jpg, then when you are viewing D:\MyMusic and you see all the lists of subdirectories - the U2 folder should also show an image.

If you left GB-PVR running when you tested this, then you may need to restart GB-PVR. It may have cached the fact there was no image for this directory.

Is it possible for GB-PVR to read the mp3's ID3 tags?

Yes, if it finds ID3 tags then it displays them instead of the filename.

It appearantly won't show the .jpg that is included in the ID3 tag though?
