Record Audio from Digital Music Channel

Is there a way to record just the audio from a station? The video on these channels is just a black screen, or static image saying the current track. I would hate to waste the space to record this video, when I just want the audio.

Actually, recording the "video" does not add much to the filesize since it's a static image that is only refreshed every 30 seconds or so. Digital music channels usually have a bitrate of less than 1 Mbps.

Sorry, I replied on the wrong thread http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=3...ostcount=4 There is no static image video channel on my cablego, there is a special stream and software for digital audio and the STB remembers the last 5 songs played (except for rebroadcast FM radio)

Our cable broadcast are all 192 kb ac3, with multi-record there are 30+ channels available, it would be quite a test for gbpvr.
