That made a difference. All activities are logging to the cmd prompt window. No errors within npvr, but black screen and no audio.. Devices are now showing in the Status window under settings. I have installed the System plug in (among others), and status says "No Tuners Active".
Changed to vmr9 video renderer, and Hauppage audio decoders. Now have sound and video! Hooray! Video a tad choppy so I changed back to EVR, and restarted. Still working and smooth video
I have been looking thru the accepted .bat files and do not see a proper way to load nrecord.exe. Should I just make a .bat file that starts nrecord and nvpr? I have other issues to address and would like to end with this thread..
I receive no output within the cmd prompt window. It goes directly back to the prompt. Also, nrecord crashes after last scheduled recording, which halts convertvideo.bat for Roku conversion of the last recording.
Have looked into the service properties. I see a NPVR recording service which shows as stopped, even though nrecord is running with the RUN option from cmd prompt window. Also, there are many settings for nrecord process properties.
