I'm having the same issue here. I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and when i go to run the program it says it needs to initialize the database, and when it starts to do that, it just freezes. The window shows as not responding, though my cpu Cores are goin haywire (gotta love the geeky techy stuff lol). Anyway, the program LOOKS to be great, but i was wondering if you had a fix for the Windows 7 operating system... p.s. i have .net 1, 2, 3, 3.5, and 4 so i think i got that covered Wink

There appears to be a problem with the catalogue download. I have XP and I am having the same problem. I'll check into it and get a fix out soon.

I was reading the developers section on the NetFlix site and it seems the new APIs don't support certain things that seem to me to be related to cataloging. One of the reasons i got your program was because i could search their streaming database WITHOUT having to go onto their site, but it seems they MAY be cutting that out, IDK, i'm only a fledgling programmer at best so, but i'll keep you posted if i find something that might help.

I found the problem and have fixed it. I'll put out a release tonight, I'm hoping to fix the episode selection as well. The problem is that it is working on my computer. Are you filling the screen on the cheers episodes? So it is a 4x3 show stretched to a 16x9 format?

I might have streched it at first, but havent now for a long time, just playing as is. I think I was strecthing Mr. Bean though, maybe thats why that one was working. I am using 1920x1080 in case dats important. Wink

Snooze Wrote:Hi DH!

3. Recently viewed: Seems to be working OK except for TV series, i.e. Cheers TV Series.

4. Speaking of Cheers TV series... I noticed the episode number isnt correct to the Season in the Info Screen. e.g. I was watching Cheers Season 2, episode 15, but the info screen says episode 37. I am assuming this is the 37th in the list.

6. Seems like some episode skipping is working, some is not. i.e. Cheers again, it is 4x3 format, maybe thats why. I was wondering if it would be easier on you to add the mouse clicks at the very end of the show where netflix red screen pops up and shows the previous/next buttons near the middle? Those look like larger targets to hit. I myself find I go to the end (pee break) and that red screen shows up. Just a thought.

EDIT: I was trying to think which was skipping good, I think it was Mr. Bean.

7. I was watching "In search of: Navajo Code Talkers". It was 4x3 so I switched to 16x9, it did change aspect, but didnt fill the whole screen. Is that fixable?

Thanks for any consideration!

#3 - It is working for TV series, but the database updater was broken, so it would be out of date. teh recently viewed list only gets updated in the database when you do a full update.

#4 - Correct #37 in the list. The season/episode number should show up in the synopsis.

#6 - Working on it

#7 - Some movies will not stretch/shrink properly. I'm not sure why, I've tried messign with the screen resolution and everything and it doesn't seem to help. Wizard of Oz was teh same way. Sorry nothing I can do about it.

Will give it a shot on d: drive. dont see why it wouldnt work. getting kinda late. will let it load and try it tomorrow.

edit... db loading is working. should be ok, about an hour on a fresh install on win 7, 32 bit, G wireless.

If you want, I can test episodes for you.
