TCPOptomizer (Google it) can reset winsock/TCPIP very easily for you. It has both resets under the file tab, as well as creating backup settings. I am pretty sure it creates them automatically on the first run so you can import it back, but make one just in case.

I'm new to this program, this is my first time installing it.
I can update the database fine.
But when i start the program, i always get this error.
I have windows 7 X64 with .net 3.5 sp1
It seems to be working for other people in this forum.
what am i missing here? Smile

Try running it as administrator, MOST of the time that works for that error, but occasionally it doesn't, at least for me... the creator might have another idea, tho

DH great looking app you have....I got a chance to try it out last night after some messing with the settings. I have the 30 day trial from Netflix (streaming only) and I found that I can only see the data and watch the movies when I select the Canada option (I don't live in Canada). When Canada is not selected it shows LOADING please wait.... and nothing happens. Also nothing in my instant queue shows up and I have movies and tv shows in my queue on the web site.

Another thing is when I start the app it shows install screen 1 of 2 for about 3 min then loads up. It that supposed to happen? That may be because I haven't made it through a complete data base download without an error. I believe the error is due to my internet dropping out. It is a wireless connection from the main house 100 yards away not very reliable. I am going to try to download again tonight and see what happens.

All that being said in the last week or so I have tried the Boxee netflix app, the xbmc netflix app, and of course our own gbpvr app by Whurlston and if I can work these small issues out I believe this one will work best for me. Thanks allot!
