This morning I programmed a recording to last from 7:20 to 9:55 with pre- and postpadding (not sure how much). Now there's only a recording of 00:54:27. I've had no crashes. Logs attached.

EDIT: I remembered I can read the db3-file with sqlitespy. It was 20 mins pre and 60 mins postpadded.
And I might have found the reason for the faulty recording: the start- and endtime are not correct. They are 2 hours early.

I made a new recording and for that also, the start- and endtime are 2 hours early. But that one is being recorded anyway. And it's 00:01:37.

Is your timezone GMT+2? I'm pretty sure that internally (i.e. in the database tables) NPVR stores times in UTC not the local timezone.

MY timezone is GMT+1.
But yesterday, after installing W7 SP1 the time was incorrect (perhaps 2 hours?). I changed the time yesterday, today I rebooted and reloaded the epg data. Same problem.
I loaded epg data from another source. I have manually checked if these data are okay (and they are).

I have to make a manual recording 2 hours too late when I want to record a show.
NPVR is showing the correct time. Windows is showing normal time.

Something with time is wrong, but I don't know where.

I checked the db3-file again. It seems the epg-data in it ("EPG-EVENT"), are wrong despite the fact that the tvguide info that NPVR shows are correct. Maybe Sub can shed some light on this?

This likely isn't a time zone issue, NRecord is failing on the update of some recurring recordings and sub needs to look into it. I do see two different ChannelOID values for SBS 6 (the one working recording)

The recordings I am having trouble with, are not recurring recordings. With single recordings through the tvguide or manual ones. I have merged channels from the analog and the digital source. Besides that I have most channels again but in HD (for viewing on my laptop).
The trouble started this morning after installing SP1 yesterday and having to manually correct the time in windows.
It's strange the data in tvguide are okay, but in db3-file are wrong.

Can I safely delete all entries in EPG_EVENT in npvr.db3 and reloading epg data whilst making a recording? Maybe deleting the epg-data in "settings, channels, empty epg" wasn't succesful?
EDIT: just decided to try. Well, it empties the db3 correct. And after reloading again wrong data in db3 and correct in tvguide. It makes to sense to me.

Where do you get your epg-data from? Have you checked that there is not a "+02:00" or "-02:00" in the epg-.xml file?

If the recording times a listed wrong in either the Recording screen or TV Guide, then it sounds like either your EPG source is supplying the wrong times, or you dont have your timezone set correctly, or you dont have it set to auto adjust for daylight savings.
