Weird bug, need to start WMC to make NPVR work

I'm owner of WinFast DTV2000 H Plus Video and I've got interesting issue when trying to use NextPVR. Firstly I had to change name of video pin to "Analog Video In" in registry to make NPVR see it (even new Unmanaged.dll didn't help). Then I tried to search for analog channels, it returned nothing. So I tried to search for channels in Windows Media Center and it found all of them. It seemed to be working for now. But interestingly when I reboot my pc NPVR shows blue screen (in all channels). So i need to start Windows Media Center, click "Watch live TV", close it and start NPVR and it works great.
What's interesting log before starting WMC is nearly the same after doing this.
Anyone knows how to solve this problem? Thanks.

Hmm, I found that WinFast PVR2 actually initiates TV card properly. I think it would be easier to reverse it than WME . Could you please tell me which functions are responsible for initializing tv card? I don't have enough time to study a part of WinAPI responsible for analog TV. In spare time i could dig into it and reverse WinFast and eventually look into differences between nextPVR.

There isnt initialization functions as-such. Instead the device is supposed to initialise itself when the user builds a directshow graph that uses the device.
