New External App: Netflix Viewer

Ok I did another reinstall and have the new releases working the logs are showing that the download completed. Queue still does not work. Also the first time I install it doesn't prompt me for user name and and password instead it just through s a JIT error. If I go to the website and log in and try again it works fine. I still have the instal screen for 3 min when it starts up also. I'm wondering if it attempting to download the queue. I emailed my logs to you. Thanks for the help.

Your user ID is blank, please delete the DHGB256 folder in your application data directory and make sure you are logged into the netflix website before opening the program again. It should bring up an authorization screen where you link your netflix account to my program. This will set up your user ID and should fix the queue download problems.

The folder is here in XP: "C:\Documents and Settings\{windows user id}\Local Settings\Application Data\DHGB256"

I have confirmed that there is an oauth problem where the userID is being returned as null and I think it is on Netflix's side. I have posted to the forum and hopefully they let me know what the problem is. There is an alternative where I could provide your userID to you and have you manually enter it into the config file. However, this would require you to give me your password. If you want to temporarily change your password to something generic and let me link you up, just e-mail me. Otherwise, we'll have to wait for Netflix to get this fixed.

OK thanks for checking on that for me. Now would probably be a good time to tell you I had trouble getting xbmc to link to my account also. Boxee did link ok though. I am goinig to email my userid and password to you. I'm to impatient to wait Thanks again.

Your user ID has been e-mailed to you. Hopefully I can get this squared away soon and put out a new version with a fix.
