Out of over 80 channels, for some reason, I have two that have audio, but no video. The channels do work on televisions throughout the house. In the configuration program, in setting up the capture sources, the same problem does occur.

I'm running an HVR2250, and my signal is Clear-QAM for all channels.

Any ideas?

Its probably because the broadcaster has changed the video PIDs associated with these channels. You might need to rescan and remap them.

NextPVR doesnt have this problem because it dynamically detects the PIDs every time you watch a channel.

In my area, more often than not the PID's stay the same, but the channel frequency changes so I still need to scan clear QAM. When we had our ATSC digital transition the SID's changed and NPVR didn't handle that either.

I'm not saying it's perfect, but it's a lot more tolerant of changes than GBPVR was. PID changes were surprisingly common in the past, which is why I dealt to it in NPVR.

I'm going to switch to NextPVR, but getting the EPG to work is going to be time consuming, like it was in GBPVR, and I haven't had the time to do it yet. GBPVR is working, so I keep putting off the change. I have rescanned the channels twice - no luck. Those two still don't work.

If you record from this channels, then play them, do you get video then? ie, is it only in live tv, or recordings too?
