I just got word from netflix that they have a fix for the account link problem and it should be out within a week.

Netflix has fixed the problem, linking is working properly now.

Now that everything is working right for linking the account, I recommend you delete your user.config file and relink the correct way.

I'll take a look at the to-do list. I realize I never figured out why your episode selection isn't working, but that is because my coding computer doesn't handle 1980i. I'll get a test program on my HTPC and give it a whirl.

Ok, I was also having troubles with movies you will love... how to escape out of viewing an episode that was DVD I think , it throws me back to what I had up before, in this case new releases.

EDIT: Oh, and I am running 1920x1080P... maybe thats the problem?

How big is the data base going to be and do you know if downloading is governed by netflix because its been downloading for hours?

The catalog that is downloaded from netflix is over a gig (1.225 GB as of 11/9), so the time to update the database is determined by your speed (e.g., 1,225 bytes / 3 Mb connection * 8 bits / byte = 2,666 seconds = 44 minutes). However, I just checked and my last update (on 11/9) took 5 hours, so I assume that something on Netflix's end is slowing things down. My update on 11/7 took 1 hour and 10 minutes, so hopefully it is a temporary issue.
