EDIT: Oh, and I am running 1920x1080P... maybe thats the problem?
Hey Snooze,

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you on this, no excuses, I just needed a break away from programming for a bit. I tried the program in 1080 (p24, p30, and p60) and the episode selector worked fine. It took about 3 seconds for the program to find the button (it now does a bitmap comparison to locate the button and there is a lot of data in a 1080 image), but it found it. Can you try hitting <Tab> and <shift-Tab> on a keyboard to confirm your remote is sending the proper code to the screen?

Also, the "movies you'll love" was meant to be a search only, it is not a separate genre. So once you hit escape it takes you out of the search screen. I envisioned people adding the movies to their queue and watching from there. I could set up another fake genre, like I did for recently viewed, so it would function as a genre instead of a search. That would solve the issue. Let me know if that would be better for you.

Snooze Wrote:Hi DH!

I see your todo list has dwindled down and wondered if you were up to adding some enhancements?

1. I was wondering if its possible to have a small indicator to indicate if a movie is in foreign launguage with english subtitles? Something like a * or a (s) or even a red text caution on the main page like "SUBTITLED TO ENGLISH" if there is room. I find myself starting a movie and realizing the whole movie will be subtitled, and too tired to follow along so I exit it and find something else to watch.

2. Red button deleting from queue. How about a "Are you sure you want to delete from your queue" confirmation?

OK, I added in these features. Note: The <ST> shows up anytime the word Foreign shows up in the genre field. I would estimate it is accurate about 99% of the time, but I have found a few foreign films that are not subtitled, or at least not through most of the film (e.g., The Red Barron). Let me know what you think.

This is nice. On red button delete, the confirm dialog box comes up, i press no, the dialog box closes, but then the app looses focus. Is this happening to you, or is it something on my end?

It was working on my end, but I went ahead and added in another focus change. Try this one.

When you fit the screen to 4x3, it changes your screen resolution to 800x600, so it should have worked identical to mine. What is your color density, is it set to 32 bit?

Yep, that one cured it.

1920x1080Px32bit. Running ATI CCC and Xcode 10.2. I tried to shut down all of ATI CCC components and remoting software (LM Remote) and anything else not necessary with End it all 2, just to see if that was interfering, but to no avail. What ATI CCC version are you running? If yours is older, maybe I can find an older version (thats not easy) to try it. The episode skipping worked before, but now it doesn't. I dont understand why. I dont remember updating my driver since i believe they stopped at 10.2 for XP and my hardware/OS.

EDIT: I tried episode skip in regular and 4x3 fit screen modes... in case you were wondering. Sometimes I dont use it as it makes people look out of proportion Big Grin

EDIT: I am going to install it on my win 7 netbook, and upgrade it on my old HTPC to see if I get the same results. Will let you know what I find.

I am using ATI version 11.2, but it shouldn't matter. The rgb values are defined in the image sent by netflix, not by the drivers. That is how I am comparing the two images (got the idea from the programmer of the Event ghost plugin you recommended). As long as your color density is the same as mine it should work.

So did it work in 4x3 mode?

What version of IE are you using?

Neither mode works. Running IE8, silverlight 4
