Great, thanks for the confirmation.

When you say "sometimes / not always" do you mean that if you switch views (to 7 day for example) and then go back to Timeslot, you'd only have a single "10:33, Tue" slot or do you mean it's consistent but only for some slots?

I have seen this myself but not recently and can't reproduce it. I'll check my code.

Allow me to re-phrase myself...

On some time slots, I get multiple shows, but sometimes, I get multiple slots for the same time.
The screen shot shows an example.

Its pretty consistent, I get multiple entries like this each day. If I update the guide, the same multiple slots appear.

I just downloaded and tested this out. The 2 main problems I had were operator related.
1. you have to ensure you add the ndroid service and not the ndroid service config application which it finds by default...
2. I had to open the ndroid to public as well as the home network.

It looks really good Brian. I am sure I will make use of it. Many thanks.

OK, I've found something. I'll do some more tests though as I'm not sure what it is. Smile

I'm assuming you mean firewall stuff - sorry, my bad, I don't use a software firewall so documenting it hadn't occurred to me.

Great, glad you like it. I'm gradually whittling down the problems and aiming to add some new features ASAP.

OK, more information.

The entries where there are two seperate timeslots for the same time seem to have incorrect show times.
Two screen shots attached. The first shows "Play School" and "Arthur" at 15:02 (and a couple of others) but touching the Arthur entry shows it starts at 15:05. The others have later start times.

It looks like they are being sorted OK, just the time displayed in the time slot is wrong.

Cheers

Thanks - I was able to reproduce the behaviour for some timeslots on my phone and hopefully have it fixed now.

I've uploaded v1.6.7 to the Market - give it a bit of time to appear, the Market has been very slow to update recently.

Cheers,
Brian

Yep, looks good.

I have a show marked in red, despite the fact that I cancelled it (on the PC) earlier, and have Updated the Guide. ???

Great, let me know if you spot any more but hopefully it's fixed for good.

Yep, this was always going to be one of the trickiest bits to sort out - keeping everything in sync.

In the current version, the nDroidService only updates the files containing epg and scheduled recordings once a day triggered by the "sc control "nDroid Service" 129" command in PostUpdateEpg.bat (assuming a user has set that up). You can manually run that command and then use Update Guide and it should reflect the changes but it doesn't do it automatically.

There isn't currently a way for nDroidService to 'know' when recordings have been scheduled/cancelled using NextPVR on the PC but I'm working on some ideas. There's still some way to go before nDroid is out of 'beta' phase and this is one of a few (high priority) issues that need to be sorted out before it is.

Cheers,
Brian

Ah, yes. I do this in postupdatepg.bat, but had forgotten about.
OK. I can live with it.

This is looking good. Really useful for a general TV guide.

Hopefully I'll get automatic updates sorted soon which well help keep things in sync.

Great, glad you like it. The bad news is I spotted some more inaccuracies in the Timeslot view on my phone - looks like I only fixed part of the problem Sad. Looking into it now.
